Naomi Breeze – Actor | Writer | Producer

Professional Theatre Company

Breeze Productions is a pint-sized professional theatre company based in the UK which was established in January 2002 by Naomi Breeze, a graduate of The Royal Scottish Academy Of Music & Drama and a member of British Actors Equity.

This friendly, professional, touring theatre company writes, produces, performs and tours its own original one person plays as diverse as the search for the meaning of life to ——- and ——-.

Breeze Productions also offers a range of innovative, high quality, yet affordable services to individuals, groups, communities and the voluntary, statutory and private sector. These include the creation and performance of customized, made to order, issue-based plays on virtually any theme (within reason!) which can help to raise awareness of an issue, for any audience and event. And provide a truly powerful training and learning experience.

Hello

I’m Naomi

I trained at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama, where we were immersed in an incredible range of subjects—everything from acting, classical and contemporary theatre, and directing, to dance, fencing, set design, and even stage management. We also delved into arts administration, teaching, theatre in education, and voice and speech production. It was a whirlwind of creativity, laughs and learning, and I loved it.

Since earning my B.A. in dramatic studies, I’ve had the chance to wear many hats! I’ve worked as an actor, performer, drama worker, youth worker, community arts practitioner, and fundraiser. Along the way, I’ve also taken on roles like development worker, trainer, and arts project manager. These experiences eventually led me to where I am now running my own small business as an artistic director. It’s been quite the journey, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

One Lonely Word "Thank you for this very powerful piece about rape and sexual assault. It raised some very powerful issues, which generate debate/discussion afterwards well done. Extremely powerful and moving and has covered the horror and longer-term impact of sexual violence."

Rape Crisis Glasgow

One Lonely Word "It is incredibly difficult task to take the essence of experiencing and surviving sexual assault /abuse/rape condense it into such a short period of time and to convey the complexity of emotion without making it trite or maudlin you have done this incredibly well."

Renfrewshire Council

A Different Route - "Rarely if ever, have I been involved with a production that completely hits the mark in the way Naomi’s did. Her thorough and dynamic approach, combined with a truly spellbinding performance, ensured that the staff attending the event were fully engaged throughout. This is a production that can be used in almost any justice –based arena (statutory non statutory) and will reach an emotional and professional core of every worker who has the good fortune to see it. I cannot recommend Naomi and Breeze Productions highly enough"
